The explosive growth of iron mining attracted thousands to northeastern Minnesota. Ironworld Discovery Center, the largest museum complex on the Iron Range, is dedicated to collecting, preserving and interpreting the history of Minnesota’s Iron Ranges. Visitors to the site discover an interactive visitor experience, spectacular mine views and one of the finest library and archival facilities in the upper midwest.
